The PlantSmith was recommended by a friend and following the first visit I decided to use this company to re-design my back garden. This involved incorporating a new patio, which was part of the design, along with a new lawn, and PS dealt with the appointed company. The area around the patio has been laid with pebbles and interspersed with tropical style plants which look amazing. The planting is now complete and is incredible. My requests for an area growing older style plants, lupins, foxgloves, etc reminding me of my parents’ garden were taken on board and the result is an abundance of beautiful flowering plants. A section of the garden was separated by a low level wooden slatted fence and pebble based and allowance for a vegetable garden surrounded by flowering shrubs was created. The design, choice and positions of plants were all spot on. Utilising existing trees and plants created the right atmosphere I wanted and reduced the level of maintenance required. Following the above work PlantSmith proceeded to redesign the front garden – one side with paving slabs and pebbles. Again, planting was exact, clematis, roses, reeds and others, names of which escape me. The second section has a covering of bark and retaining two trees and one or two mature shrubs, a variety of extra shrubs and plants were laid. It was decided pebbles on both sections would be an overkill. Again, a good decision. Overall, I could not be happier with both gardens and the efforts put in by PlantSmith are to be admired. I felt I was the important one and time was not an issue, a satisfied customer was the goal and it was achieved.
